Exhibition and lecture by space architect David Nixon November 2013 – December 2013 Event coordinated together with Faama.cz and arch. Benedikt Markel The terrestrial and space architecture fields are closely related. One of the first architects who were involved in interconnection of space and terrestrial architecture is David Nixon. Space Innovations invited architect Nixon to Czech Republic to present his life work also because of his relationship to the famous Future Systems studio. He is a co-founder of this studio together with Jan Kaplicky. David is one of the first architects that collaborated on development of space habitats such as Skylab and International Space Station. |
